My hobbies are playing drums and piano, doing sound and lighting tech stuff, tinkering with random tech related things and playing/cuddling my cats. I will soon upload a pic showing the two goofy goobers.
I work in IT, and am constantly tired. As is obligatory for IT people. I run a homeserver with proxmox installed on it, and love diving into home automation.
I play in two Bands atm, one does Rock covers and the other more pop stuff. We are also working on our own songs, which I will post here as well.
I do enjoy drawing and general art stuff. My pfp is a very goofy drawing I made of a mouse I saw at the metro shop (not the trainnetwork, the austrian supermarket for restaurants to buy stuff in).

Also: WTF is even E-card? I read through the whole document describin the network setup, and tried implementing it for three hours, to no avail. Focken hell mate. The use of a firewall is explicitely described as problematic. WHO TF MAKES A SYSTEM THAT IS PROBLEMATIC WITH FIREWALLS????

I finally got around to celebrating pride month, by going to a pride themed sing-along of the Rocky Horror Picture Show yesterday, just in time for pride month to end. IT WAS AMAZING!
This being the first summer I am on SSRIs has a great sense of humor, considering the whole of europe is currently burning. I am absolutely not enjoying this. I also only have one of those mobile ac units and live on the top floor. This is constant suffering.
I am screaming internally. I just bought a second hand projector screen on willhaben. The add said its 2m wide. It is 3m wide. I cannot mount this in my living room. It cost way too much money and I drove an hour to pick it up from the post office.
I have converted my great grandmas old radio (from the 50s) into a smart home Control Center for my living room :) the Buttons actually work, they change between gages (currently off, lighting, media and music) and will, once I get a projector and screen, also auto start my Projektor and power the screen if I go to the media tab. It’s in dire need of a paint job, and there is a metal bar that still needs to be attached (it will sit just below the screen), but it has its basic functionality. I still want to add potentiometers to the wheels for volume control, but that is a project for another day.
I am currently deep in the preparations for my next event on the 20th. I am eqal parst excited because of how big and cool things are gonna be and scared because I might fuck something up. I am playing in two different bands at that event, and doing sound and lighting at the same time. This is only possible because I rigged my lights to react to my drums midi output, which is very cool but also adds another layer of complexity.
We had one of the craziest political period in our small town so far. There have never, since it was founded, been protests. Now we have had three. There has been nothing but fighting in between the different parties. People have been sent threats akin to "dont go outside in the dark anymore". Keep in mind this is a rural Austrian small town. We have literal chickens running around the main square because they keep escaping from a farmer who has his house there. And yesterday the whole things completed in one vote, which got passed, to the dismay of the protestors. One viewer even had to be thrown out due to interfering in the vote. I will not posission myself publicly because of my job and having to work with both sides, but what I will say is that I cannot believe how violent this has gotten.
